In September of each year we hold a Native American Powwow to demonstrate the culture of the past. The powwow is a celebration for the season of harvest. This is a time when many tribes would get together to celebrate the end of the growing season, and the beginning of winter. The powwows were a way for the tribes to celebrate before going their own ways for the winter. The powwows were a time for the renewing of friendships and catching up on important news

To take part in the smudging and blessing, please arrive at 11:30am, the concert will begin at noon. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the concert will be indoor at the lecture room where he and Kimberly will perform 2 one hours concerts to accommodate everyone who shows up. No matter the weather which has been into the 70s at times, we will have the ceremony and concert. See you there!

John Ziegler hosted this brilliant show for 25 years and has now turned over the reigns to Arvel Bird and Kimberly Kelley, who are co-producing the next generation of this beloved community holiday concert. The show will feature many of your prior year favorites, a few new favorites AND Special Guest John Ziegler!
